    FOUNDER

    CERTIFIED DOULA | LACTATION EDUCATON SPECIALIST | DOULA TRAINER & MENTOR

    Sydney is a certified full-spectrum doula, lactation education specialist, and the founder of The Village Doula Collective. She specializes in childbirth and prenatal education, and postpartum support. With nearly a decade of experience supporting families through birth, postpartum, and beyond, she is passionate about providing care that is rooted in compassion, cultural humility, and community. Sydney holds a BA in Sociology and brings a rich background in supporting at-risk youth, working with families in reunification services, and serving in various social work roles—all of which shape her client-centered, advocacy-driven approach to doula care. She is especially committed to advocating for marginalized communities and birthing people, ensuring every family receives equitable, respectful, and empowering care throughout their reproductive journey.

    Based in Northern California, she proudly serves families in Butte and surrounding Counties. Sydney is committed to creating safe, supported, and empowering experiences for every family she walks alongside.

    Holistic Birth & Postpartum Doula | Student Herbalist | Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher | Placenta Encapsulation Specialist

    Joriel is the founder of Primal Passage, a holistic doula practice devoted to supporting women through the deeply transformational journey of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood. With nearly a decade of experience working with children and families, she brings a grounded, nurturing presence and a wealth of practical wisdom to every family she serves. She is currently studying herbal medicine under renowned midwife and herbalist Dr. Aviva Romm, deepening her understanding of integrative care and the powerful role of plant medicine in women’s health. As a registered prenatal yoga teacher, she weaves mindfulness, movement, and breathwork into her practice to help clients cultivate connection, comfort, and strength throughout pregnancy and beyond.

    As a certified placenta encapsulation specialist, Joriel also offers placenta services designed to support postpartum recovery and hormonal balance—part of her commitment to full-spectrum, holistic care that honors the body’s innate wisdom and the sacred transition into motherhood. Rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered, Joriel creates safe, intuitive, and compassionate spaces for her clients. Her approach blends evidence-based knowledge with a deep reverence for the primal power of birth.

  • Erica Zuccato

    CERTIFIED DOULA

    Erica is the founder of Momma’s Tiny Miracles Doula Services and a proud Northern California native. Having grown up in several small rural communities in the region, she has dedicated her life to serving families in a wide range of meaningful roles. Erica has volunteered extensively with youth, supporting both thriving and at-risk teens through mentorship and education. She has taught parenting classes focused on nurturing healthy child development and transforming challenging adolescent behaviors, as well as educational workshops for expecting parents on SIDS awareness and the Period of Purple Crying.

    Erica also worked as a teacher with the local Head Start program, supporting infants and toddlers during critical stages of early development. She later served as a family support worker, specializing in case management and providing in-home support to pregnant and parenting families. With more than a decade of hands-on experience, training, and dedication, she brings deep knowledge and confidence to every family she serves.

    Her approach is rooted in both professional expertise and lived understanding, allowing her to provide care with clarity, intention, and respect. She listens closely, honors each family’s unique choices, and advocates without judgment.

    Committed to inclusive and affirming care, Erica warmly supports people of all identities, backgrounds, family structures, and experiences. Her highest priority is ensuring every family feels seen, safe, respected, and empowered.

    Ebonie Megibow

    CERTIFIED DOULA & HOLISTIC/INTEGRATIVE FERTILITY SPECIALIST

    Ebonie is a maternal health researcher with a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Tampa. Her work has focused on examining the impact of structural racism on Black maternal health, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the maternal health crisis, and equitable access to contraceptives. Time spent working in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area provided firsthand insight into how income inequality jeopardizes birthing outcomes—insights that ultimately inspired her path to becoming a doula. Rooted in the wisdom of African-American ancestors and the legacy of community midwives, Ebonie now offers compassionate, culturally attuned support to Black women and birthing people, viewing this work as a vital step toward collective liberation.

    Caroline Patterson

    CERTIFIED DOULA & MIDWIFE IN TRAINING

    Caroline is passionate about caring for mothers and families during the transformational journey of pregnancy and childbirth. She is a certified DONA International Birth Doula and has also received training in the energetic capacity as a Guardian of Birth from her teacher, Maria Maldonado. Caroline believes in creating a safe and supportive space for her clients, ensuring that they feel seen, heard, and empowered to make informed and intuitive decisions throughout pregnancy and childbirth. She is happy to be part of The Village Doula Collective offering virtual pregnancy and postpartum services by providing educational and emotional support, birth planning, and resources.

    In addition to doula services, Caroline also makes organic body products and tea blends to support women's health, pregnancy, and postpartum. She is currently in midwifery school to continue on her path and broaden her knowledge in the birth setting, and hopes to learn from midwives and doulas from different cultures around the world.
