Newborn Night Care (8–10 Week Placement in Chico)

Schedule: 3–4 nights per week
Hours: Approximately 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Pay Range: $30–40/hour DOE
Start Date: Within the next 4–6 weeks

About the Role

A Chico family is seeking experienced overnight newborn support during the early postpartum period. The caregiver will provide structured nighttime care to allow parents restorative sleep while ensuring safe, responsive infant support.

This role requires confidence working independently overnight and maintaining a calm, professional presence in a private home.

Responsibilities

• Overnight infant care
• Feeding support (bottle or assisting with breastfeeding transitions as needed)
• Diapering and soothing
• Monitoring infant sleep patterns
• Light baby-related tidying (bottles, changing area reset)

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Strong newborn experience
• Current Infant CPR certification
• Glowing professional references
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation
• Calm, confident, and highly dependable

Postpartum or newborn care training is strongly preferred.
