The Village Doula Collective hosts a free, 1-hour Community Doula Q&A once per month, held on a Saturday morning. These sessions are designed for people who are curious about doulas and doula services, exploring whether doula work is right for them, or seeking birth and postpartum resources.

This is a conversation-based information session, not a class or training.

What This Session Is

• A live, open Q&A

• A space to ask questions about:

  • What doulas do and how they support families

  • What doula services look like in real life

  • How to become a doula

  • Doula training and certification pathways

  • Medi-Cal doula services

  • Local and community-based birth and postpartum resources

• A training or instructional class

• Hands-on education

• Certification or continuing education credit

• Medical or clinical advice
